UIC Unplugs: Small Acts, Big Impact

As part of its commitment to sustainability and energy conservation, the University of the Immaculate Conception (UIC) actively promotes responsible energy use within its campuses. One key initiative encourages administrative staff to turn on air conditioning units only by 9:00 AM and switch them off by 4:00 PM to reduce energy consumption during peak hours.

Additionally, students, faculty, and staff are reminded to turn off lights, computers, and other electronic devices when not in use. These simple yet impactful practices reflect UIC's collective effort to foster an energy-efficient campus and support global climate action goals.
